The fifth edition of the MTN’s App Challenge was won by Mr.Razak Issaka, a 25 year old graduate of the university of Ghana.

Being adjudged the overall winner, he took home a total of GHC 40,000.

GHC 20,000 for being the ultimate winner, and another 20,000 cedis for winning in the best Animation Video Category as well as a certificate, and a Huawei plaque.

His App “Aluta-Man Must Chop” is an animated video which projects the story of an ambitious young man called Aluta who hustles on the street of Accra for survival.

The story unfolds as Aluta, a man of many talents is constantly trying out different jobs in an endless attempt to discover what he is best at.

Razak expressing his gratitude said, he will focus mainly on programing and coding as a profession, as the recent project he excelled in has brought him much joy.

According to him, his next project will be a video that will sensitise the public against the use of tramol.

This, according to him is aimed at solving societal problems and educating the youth in society.

Mr. Noel Kojo Hanson the acting Chief Marketing Officer of MTN, said MTN’s App challenge has over the years given some Ghanaian youth the platform to develop and take up challenges in the economy.

He indicated that MTN, will be promoting women in Science,Technology Engineering and Mathematics in order to empower girls.
