The agri-tech startup weekend, an event aimed at empowering start-ups in agriculture has been scheduled to take off on September, 13.

The startup weekend which is a three-day event will end on September, 15.

The workshop which seeks to gather experts active in the field of agriculture will be held in Tehran’s Shahr-e Aftab International Exhibition Center.

According to the secretary of the startup weekend workshop Hesam Nobari, the event aims to gather private sector, state-run organizations and experts to empower the agricultural startup ecosystem.

He highlighted that, the event can be a great opportunity for start-ups to gain more knowledge in their field and start solving problems with it.

“Holding entrepreneurship events is the first step to strengthen startup ecosystems, hence the event can be a great chance for startups to start solving the problems,” he said.

The three-day event will provide a platform where several workshops will be held.

The workshop will educate participants on pitch presentation skills, business models, and business plan preparation.

The event concept will cover entrepreneurship, and the formation and introduction of startups in the field of agriculture.
