Nonprofit educational organization, Blockchain African Ladies (BAL) will be hosting their Female Blocktech Conference in Ghana at the Kofi Annan ICT Centre.
The Conference which will commence on August 23rd and end on the 24th of the same month is open to all, focusing on Women in Africa.
According to the founder of the BAL Ojuederie Doris, the conference themed “The Looming Financial Revolution: An Engine for Social Tranquil” will feature 80 percent of renowned African and Foreign female blockchain experts as speakers.
She indicated that, “this is deliberate as to aiding focus of the consciousness of African women towards the low hanging fruits of the blockchain technology.”
She also mentioned that the conference will attract all African women, especially women in cooperate, social and religious organizations as well as the fintech and blockchain industry.
Some benefits of attending the conference include, practical trainings on Blockchain Dapp’s Development, Cryptocurrency Trading, Entrepreneurship Skill Set, and exposure on Personal/Business Branding as the gathering wouldn’t be the usual theoretical conference.
Some speakers include, Patience Teiko Tetteh, a software engineer and Ghana Chapter Lead of BAL, Ghana, Tavonia Evans, Founder of Guap Coin from USA, Regina Honu CEO of Soronko Academy in Ghana and Ingrid Lafleur Chief Community Officer at EOS Detroit (USA).
The Conference will also feature The Iron Lady, Alakanani Itireleng, CEO of Satoshi Centre Bostwana. Alakanani is actively championing the course of blockchain Adoption in Botswana. She who has won an award of excellence in Blockchain incubation facilities at the Global Blockchain Congress recently in South Africa is seen as one woman who has created a career path in Blockchain Ecosystem in Africa.
The Blocktech conference will take place within the hours of 9am and 5pm on both days.
