China is set to build a $ 2.1 billion Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology park.
This is in line with the country’s plan to be the world leader in Artificial Intelligence by 2030.
The park will be constructed in Western Beijing to house AI firms in the country.
Also, it has been reported that the construction of the park will cover about 54.87 hectres.
According to the state’s news agency(Xinhua), the AI park is expected to create an annual output value of about 50 billion yuan.
It is also expected to attract about 400 businesses in the country.
The park will focus on developing areas such as high-speed big data, cloud computing, biometric identification as well as deep learning.
It has been reported that the park will have 5G mobile internet, a super computer and cloud services
