Ghana’s Minister for Communications, Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, has inaugurated the board of directors for Ghana Post Company Limited.

The move is a call on members to transform the company into a profitable and self-sustaining company.

It also aims at providing job satisfaction to employees and customers alike.

Members of the board include the chairperson, Mr George Afedzi Hayford, Mr James Kwofie, Mr Desmond Boateng, Mr Yiadom B. Kessie, Ms Abena Durowaa Mensah, Mr Frederick Akuffo-Gyimah, and Mr Michael Nana Yaw Adu-Darko.

During the inauguration, the Chairperson Mr George Afedzi Hayford, indicated that the board will work assiduously to achieve the objectives set by the company.

The Minister for Communications, also entreated the board to work hand in hand with private sector partners to help modernize operations of the organization.

This according to her, will help enhance the country’s socio-economic development.

She however urged the board to take advantage of the revolution in tech to help improve its service delivery.

According to her, the center is expected to help grow the Information Communication Technology (ICT) and Information Technology Enabled Services/Business Process Outsourcing (ITES/BPO) industry.
