After achieving their educational ambition, a group of Physicians and Surgeons have joined forces with the government of Ghana to establish a modern healthcare facility in the country.

With their expertise and knowledge in the health delivery industry, the group have indicated that they will ensure that, the health care system will serve the health needs of citizens in the country and beyond.

Prof. Elijah Paintsil, First Vice-President of the Foundation explained that the move, is a gesture by the group made up of 1,500 specialists to give back to the society that nurtured their career.

According to him, the current mortality rate is nothing a country like Ghana could be proud of and as such hopes their initiative will help address the issue.

“We want to play our part in the development of Ghana. We have acquired skills that Ghana needs, and we need to bring those skills set to bear on the Healthcare system in the country,” he said.

Prof. Paintsil however, sought the President’s intervention to make their vision a reality, as he believes that their efforts would contribute to the President’s Ghana Beyond Aid agenda.

President Akufo-Addo who was highly excited about the decision of the foundation stated that he is ready to facilitate the mission as it is an excellent one.
