Renowned Technology Bloggers and Social Media Influencers have shared their Huawei experience with their followers and friends from the media.

Following their participation in the maiden edition of the ‘Huawei Day with the Media’, the Tech enthusiasts took to social media and blogs to recount their various engagements with the Tech giant while others also applauded the company for their leadership in ICT.

Social Media Influencer, Ameyaw Debrah

In a social media post, media personality, influencer Ameyaw Debrah expressed his satisfaction with the strides Huawei continue to make in ICT and industry talent development. He tweeted “Huawei doing some amazing works in Ghana especially in ICT education” the tweet was accompanied by an image of Huawei’s 2021 ICT training targets.

The Founder of Ameyaw Debrah Media also shared with his fellow media colleagues at the ‘Huawei Day with the Media’ his experience from his engagement with Huawei during the heat of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He was particularly impressed with how Huawei engaged him in a dialogue on how innovative technologies were making life possible during the lockdown period and beyond. He also highlighted how through Huawei he was able to educate his audience to ignore rumours of 5G causing COVID-19. “I was very happy to be engaged by Huawei, I got quality and useful content to share with my audience especially at a time when the country was hit with a lockdown” He said.

Tech Blogger, Kobby Spikey

On his part, Renowned Technology enthusiast and host of Geek Squad, Joy Fm’s flagship Technology show, Kwabena Offei-Kwadey Nkrumah, known in the media circles as Kobby Spiky took to social media to share his thoughts on the ICT giant in a series of tweets. He tweeted “When people hear Huawei, all that comes to mind is their mobile devices but… This is Huawei Ghana’s impact in the country” the tweet was accompanied by an image of Huawei’s ICT Development slide with highlighted key contributions the company has made to develop ICT as well as some Social Contributions”

In another post, Kobby Spiky shared his excitement about the Huawei RuralStar Solution. He posted in a thread. “Just finding out about the Huawei RuralStar and I’m excited. RuralStar is an improvement of the traditional cell station. An all-in-one design integrates all the modules into a tiny box” He continued to recall how he struggled for Mobile Network during his days in college “…I remember back in school in Volta Region, we had to climb trees, polytank mount et al just to get mobile network just for calls…” the tweets were inspired by his experience of a Virtual Tour of the Huawei’s DARWIN Exhibition Centre located in Shenzhen, China during the event.

Tech blogger and founder of JBKlutse.com, John Blunya Kluste in a blog post noted, “Aside the smart gadgets and other computing devices such as laptops, I’m personally intrigued by how willing Huawei is to test the limits of Artificial or Advanced Intelligence (AI) as the company terms it and see how far it can go in making the world better. And when you talk about social awareness, Huawei’s desire to remain a socially responsible corporate organization cannot be overstated, because the evidence is clear and visible.

Huawei’s growth should be a source of excitement and inspiration for anyone whose interest is in the future of AI and smart technology.

I am deliberate, so I like businesses and organizations that are deliberate with their progress and overall game plan. Huawei’s technology is a beauty to experience, and, long may it continue.”
The first edition of Huawei Day with the Media also included a virtual tour of the company’s ultramodern Darwin Exhibition Centre in Shenzhen, China, where participants were informed about how Huawei is employing advanced technology to make the world a better place through initiatives such as the Huawei #TECH4ALL and the RuralStar solution as well as the company’s contribution towards the fight against the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

The Huawei Day with the Media was organized by Huawei Ghana as part of efforts to engage the media, to strengthen relationship, and share the company’s contributions toward building a digital economy, while giving the media the opportunity to better understand operations on Huawei in Ghana.
