Infinix has launched a proprietary e-commerce platform to push its products directly to consumers.

The e-commerce platform dubbed X-Mall, or Infinix Mall has been active in Egypt and Pakistan for almost a year now.

According to the company, the platform  will be launched in Kenya on September 3, to offer customers access to all Infinix products and accessories.

Isabella He, X-Mall Operations Manager, explained that Kenya being the second African market to host the platform will sell Infinix smartphones, Infinix-branded accessories and third-party accessories such as power banks, earphones, headphones and wearables from selected brands.

She however confirmed that Oraimo will be one of those brands whose product will be sold.

X-Mall promises quality and convenience through fast deliveries and competitive prices.

Isabella assured partners that, X-Mall will not undercut Infinix’s partners through unfair pricing.

“We will still have a partnership with the likes of Jumia and Kilimall, these are open market platforms, we won’t stop other merchants from selling Infinix products online,” she said.

“Quality is first, but we still have to be competitive in price. Aside from stocking only original Infinix products and accessories, which means our customers can trust us, we will obey the set recommended retail prices,” Isabella adds.

X-Mall, will only accept M-Pesa payments at launch with other payment options such as cash on delivery, Airtel money and card payments coming later, depending on demand.

She further indicated that, the company through its delivery team will cater for Nairobi customers, offering quick deliveries within 24 hours.

Customers outside Nairobi will also get their products delivered through Fargo Courier within three days of ordering.
