Tech hub, ISPACE has partnered MLADIINFO INTERNATIONAL of Macedonia to organize a Mobile App Challenge known as Myouth. The competition is bringing together young app developers between the ages of 18 and 33 from Vietnam, Hong Kong, Germany, Kenya, Poland, Austria, and Ghana among others.

The aim of this competition is to get these developers to pitch their ideas which are geared towards solving social problems. The program seeks to attract young developers who have, or are working on an android or iOS app. They will be given an opportunity to build on their apps in Macedonia after successfully going through the various stages of the competition.

Between April 10 and 15, 2018, three participants each from Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania and Senegal will be camping at iSPACE in Accra, Ghana where the Myouth competition will take place. Four winners will qualify for the next stage of the challenge. Some of the competing Apps include Trashy Cash and the Autism Aid app.

iSPACE was contracted by the European Union to host this project based on its track record of successfully organising the Moja App last year. Winners at this year’s Myouth program will enter the European Youth Awards event in Austria later this year where they will get to network with other developers and learn new skills on mobile app development.
