The Vice President of the World Energy Council, (FEL Ghana), Justice Ohene Akoto, has been nominated for the Rising Star and the Outstanding Staff of the year for the 2019 Ghana Energy Awards.

Justice, as the National Vice President of the World Energy Council spearheaded the World Energy Council’s Issue Monitor for Ghana in 2018.

He represented the Ghana Member Committee of the World Energy Week Milan 2018 in Italy.

In October 2018, his company Maiseville Groupe was adjudged winners of the MakeInAfrica 2018 contest in Rome called Pulse.

As a panelist on Tech Voice Africa’s monthly TVA dialogue, Justice Akoto joined seasoned entrepreneurs who are putting in efforts to improve the energy sector of the Ghanaian economy, to discuss how Ghana and Africa at large can effectively explore and utilize its renewable energy to help boost the economy.

Known for his good works, Justice Ohene Akoto has been nominated as the Rising Star and Outstanding Staff of the year for the 2019 Ghana Energy Awards.

The awards aims to recognize the efforts, innovation and excellence stalwarts within the energy sector to celebrate the tremendous work of the players competing under the various categories.

Fully endorsed by the Ministry of Energy and the World Energy Council, Ghana, the Awards has been slated for November 29, 2019 at the Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra.
