MTN Ghana Foundation has been declared Foundation of the year 2017 at the Sustainability and Social Investment Awards.
The Social Investment awards was held in Accra.
MTN Ghana Foundation also won the Best Company in Partnership for Community Development Award and the Project of the Year Award.
Commenting on the awards, the acting Corporate Services Executive Mr. Robert Kuzoe said, “The mission of the MTN Foundation is to improve the quality of lives of people through appropriate and sustainable corporate social responsibility interventions in communities where MTN operates.”
These awards testify that MTN Ghana Foundation has positively impacted a number of communities in Ghana. The Foundation will continue to brighten the lives of the people by investing in impactful and sustainable projects and ultimately be the benchmark of Corporate Social Responsibility in Ghana”, he added
He dedicated the awards to the Board members of the MTN Ghana Foundation, the Management and the staff of MTN.
The Sustainability and Social Investment Awards is organized annually by Ion Africa Business in partnership with FIRMUS Advisory, a leading research company in Ghana.
