MTN’s New CEO To Commence Work Today

 MTN Ghana’s new appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Selorm Adadevoh is expected to commence work today, June 20, 2018.

He took over from, Mr. Ebenezer Asante after his promotion as Vice President of the MTN Group.

Mr. Asante upon handing over entreated all customers to accept and welcome the new CEO wholeheartedly.

Mr Adadevoh, however is expected to take the company to new heights based on his acquired experience.

Per his experience and exposure in the technology industry, Mr. Adaddvoh is expected to bring a wide-range of skillset to the company.

He is also expected to sustain the company’s profit margin and market share as well as help achieve $4.7bn through IPO offering.

Additionally, he is to put in much effort to help increase earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA).

Mr. Adadevor, an alumnus of the Wharton School, University of Pensylvenia was the CEO of Digicel and based in Haiti.

He managed a team of 1200 employees across the country and had 10 direct reports.

He is said to have grown the business’ subscriber base to 75 per cent market share in Haiti.

Prior to that, he held the role of Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the same company.

He was the Chief Commercial Officer and head of Mobile Financial Services (MFS) for Millicom (Tigo) Ghana.

He also attended Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), based in Ghana.
