Today marked the second to last competition in the NSMQ one-eighth contests with St. Margaret Mary’s SHS scoring the second least winning score in the competition.

Takoradi SHS competed against St. Margaret Mary SHS and Labone SHS.

Though Labone had a good start, they lost their lead to St. Margaret Mary’s SHS (Abigail Ashley, Mark Asiedu) who won the competition with 26 points; the second least winning score throughout the competition.

Takoradi SHS completed with 23 points and Labone SHS with 19 points.

The next contest pit Holy Child School against Breman Asikuma SHS and Akwamuman SHS.

Though the competition was close, with both Holy Child and Breman Asikuma drawing twice during the contest, Holy Child School (Akosua Timah Acquah Otchere, Keziah Apperkon) won with 33 points, Akwamuman SHS with 31 points and Breman Asikuma SHS with 30 points.

The final contest for the day had Nifa SHS go up against Dzodze-Penyi SHS and Krobo Girls’ SHS.

Krobo Girls’ SHS (Harriet Fiagbor, Jemima Obeng) won the competition with 46 points, Nifa SHS and Dzodze-Penyi SHS ending with 33 and 13 points respectively.
