In response to the recent trade restrictions Huawei had to face in U. S., the telcom giant has come out to say that, the restriction is likely to limit U. S. to inferior yet more expensive alternatives.

According to Huawei, the restriction could also leave the US lagging behind in 5G deployment, and eventually harm the interest rate of US companies and consumers.

Although the restrictions will infringe upon Huawei’s rights and raise other serious legal issues, the US is also likely to face some problems.

Huawei has however mentioned that, it is ready and willing to engage the US government and come up with effective measures to enhance its product security.
