After the success of 2017’s Blockchain Conference held in Ghana, the organisers of the event have decided to host a second one in Ghana.

The event will take place on October 25, 2018 at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra.

The event, themed ā€œBlockchain technology for development”, will bring together Blockchain community, policy makers, and technology leaders to give an insight of the new trend that is shaping global business.

The conference will explore the industries that are set to be disrupted the most by this new technology.

This includes; manufacturing, retail, financial services, legal, healthcare, insurance, energy, music, government, real estate and many more.

It will be preceded by a two-day Blockchain Training Workshop with resource persons from global as well as the local community.

Aside the two-day Bitcoin & Ethereum Technologies Workshop & Hackathon (pre-conference Workshop), there will also be training in technologies & applications, policy and regulations, financial inclusion as well as other crucial issues.

The Blockchain Conference is aimed at creating awareness and network with peers, creating a good policy environment for Blockchain technology to flourish, knowing the policy issues and meeting stakeholders to share best practices.

To access first-hand demos of the previous event, interested participants can visit the official Blockchain website: http://ghanablockchainconference.org.
