Verizon has enter an exclusive partnership with Apple in an effort to offer a musical perk to customers.

Per the initiative, both new and current Verizon Unlimited customers will get 6 months of Apple Music at no extra charge.

Customers who have already enjoyed Apple’s free three months streaming service, will still be eligible for the new offer.

The offer which has no expiration date yet will commence on August 16.

According to Verizon, it will also unveil the redemption process on that day.

Angie Klein, vice president of marketing at Verizon, said, the offer “gives our customers exactly what they want: Apple’s best-in-class music streaming experience, paired with an unlimited plan tailored to them, on the network they deserve.”

However, customers in the future could get exclusive discounts when using Apple Pay.

The move per reports is to help drive more customers to Verizon’s Unlimited offering, which expanded to three plans.
