Telecommunications company, Vodafone Ghana has rolled out a nation-wide coding program in its quest to ignite Ghana’s digital revolution.

The programme will be targeting the Ghanaian youth between the ages of 14 and 18.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Ghana, Yolanda Cuba the initiative is expected to reach about 500 people across all the ten regions of Ghana.

With its aim of touching lives through technology.

‘’The national coding programme is part of a concerted approach to touching lives through the power of technology and innovation. We hope to reach over 500 people across all the ten regions of Ghana by the end of the financial year, ”she said.

She further indicated that, Vodafone Ghana is poised to lead the journey into total digital inclusion in Ghana.

And for that reason, the company is engaging coding-proficient staff members to handle the project.

The first coding session, according to her will be held in Accra from 20th August – 24th August.
