Nigerian financial institution, Zenith Bank Plc has upgraded its Mobile Banking App to include a new feature.

The new feature known as QWERTY Banking, allows users to perform banking transactions while chatting on any social messaging platform.

The new feature which has been designed to make banking convenient for social media lovers enables customers to perform transactions at anytime and anywhere.

Based on the convenient nature of the  Zenith QWERTY Banking, customers can even perform transactions while conversing with business partners or chatting with friends and loved ones.

The new feature supports funds transfers, airtime purchases and bill payments to different merchants.

However, individuals on a messaging app wouldn’t have to log out to perform these transactions if the need arises.

Sources at the financial institution confirmed that Zenith Bank is working on innovative solutions that will enable its customers perform their banking activities at their own convenience.

The said innovative solutions are likely to  be rolled out before the end of the year.

According to sources, the QWERTY Banking feature is currently available on android only.

To have access to the feature, customers must upgrade their Zenith Bank Mobile App and follow the QWERTY banking activation prompts.

They further revealed that the ios version of the app would be deployed within a few weeks.
